Wanna know how those in blazers, and monkey suits, survive the blistering summer heat? Ever since I’ve started working in the retail industry, this is the most common question during the summer season. Many clients ask about cool, and thin clothing for their family vacation, or getaway; however, majority of my customers are those who have to endure the sweltering heat outside, AND the shivering chill inside.
I know I have been gone for a while, and I am so sorry for that — again, work calls, therefore I must attend (even though sometimes I’m very reluctant to do so). In today’s blog post, I am going to be sharing with you guys my experience during my first year of school, highlighting some topics which I think are important for those who are starting in the fall, and for the upcoming graduating class of 2017!
I know I rambled a lot in this video, but hopefully you guys found some parts of it helpful. Always remember that if you have a question, or a request, for me — please, ask away!
I felt obligated to take the time to apologize, again, for being completely absent this past month. As most of you may know, I just completed my first year of college, and I was really stressed out. All I could think about was studying and doing well my first year.
Regardless, that’s no excuse to completely leave you guys hanging. But, no worries – as i mentioned on Twitter – I have a ton of projects planned out, and a lot of ideas to the point where I feel like I will implode if I don’t share them with you guys!
As always, if you ever have requests, feel free to let me know in the comments, or on any of my social media platforms. Expect to see me soon~
Before I begin today’s blog post, I would like to sincerely apologize for my absence recently. Last week, I was on spring break (I really wanted to just spend time with my boyfriend and my parents), and the week before I had three major exams I had to really focus on. Now that my schedule has cleared up again, I can now focus fully on my blog content! Regardless, have no fear, during my break, I was prewriting and brainstorming.
Along with the busy weeks in the life of a stressful college student, there are moments where you start to mentally panic and freak yourself out, especially when you have a demanding major with demanding classes and professors. During these moments, you need to find ways to relax and unwind, or else you will literally explode.
Happy Saturday! Today’s post is going to be more fashion orientated! Now some of you may know that I have a job in retail, and last semester I was working during the week as well as the weekend, and girl – let me tell you – I got so stressed out with my outfits for school and for work. Sometimes I felt like I had to bring my whole closet with me in my car.
One of the things that threw me off when school started this fall, were the lectures. Now, I am use to fast paced lectures and lessons because of AP courses that I took throughout high school, but that is nothing in comparison to the real deal. Here are some life hacks for taking notes in college:
Naturally, there have been many times during the school year where I felt completely overwhelmed from my classes, the work load, and the excessive amount of time and effort to study and to do projects, etc. On top of all this, it didn’t really help that I lost interest, or was just too lazy, to maintain staying organized.
Would you like me to tell you about the dreadful feeling of realizing that after walking across the stage to receive my diploma, knowing I don’t have to turn back and face the horrors of high school, only to go back to school. To be completely honest, this was probably the most eventful first day of school I’ve ever experienced.
