I know it’s been a while since you last heard from me, but I can assure you that everything is alright! I am currently on a flight back home from a cousin’s trip, and that was the main reason for my absence as of late.
I also had summer school before this trip, but I’m finished with that too. I didn’t get the grade that I wanted, but I was close! Regardless of my absence, I did manage to get a lot of things done for M.A.N.
I currently am working with a friend for an official logo for our family, as well as a new layout for M.A.N. I am still planning on updating the blog this coming August, so be on the lookout! Once everything happens, I will blast the new launch on social media, as well as notify you with another note.
At the beginning of August, I have another trip, but rest assured, I am catching up on blog posts as we speak! I am still transitioning from my school year hiatus, but I’m working on it, I pinky promise. From now until the start of school, I am dedicated to get myself together, and to spend more time on M.A.N., and my other platforms.

So, for today’s post, I decided to upload a vlog (which I haven’t done in so long). I’m always wanting to vlog, and sharing my life with you guys, but I never get a chance to edit, and go through all my footage. But, that’s going to change!

It’s been a long time, hasn’t it? However, time has truly flown by. This week is my exam week, which means I will be returning to my blog, finally; and, I plan to stay for as long as I can.
For those who did not know, I made an executive decision to take a break from My Authentic Nature, and just focus on school. Although I did not want to make this decision, I was really juggling so much at once in terms of academics, and was having breakdowns left, and right. Furthermore, it was not professional of me to disappear, and reappear without notice; therefore, I decided to just focus on one thing — school (even though some things here and there didn’t work out like I wanted to).
A lot of things have happened since we last spoke, but no worries! Here are a couple of updates:
I got a new laptop!
If you have been following me for a while, you are probably somewhat familiar with some technical difficulties I had in the past. Long story short, my computer died, and I had to extract my hard drive, and placed it into an external disc. This allows me to access all of my old files, and provides me an extra place for storage!
As some of you are aware, I do use YouTube on occasion to share some of my content; but, I have decided to use YouTube as a platform for my vlogs.
Although my life is not so glorious right now, I do plan to capture all of the good memories, and hopefully get to share both the big, and small, milestones with you all. I am still in the process of trying to gather everything together, but soon enough, it will be running smoother, and I will be more organized.
I know it’s not much, but trust me when I say that I have been planning for a lot of new content, and maybe a new layout/ theme for my blog. Everything is still in the works, but I do plan to make everything count from here on out. And who knows — by August, I will my finish my research, and have my own custom domain!

Long time no see! Dang. The last time ya’ll heard from me was August 30. I would like to start off this note and say that I am terribly sorry for disappearing for over a month. I promise, I was not expecting my absence to be this long.
As most of you know, I am currently in my 2nd year of university, as a biology major, and adjusting to the pace has been extremely difficult this year. I am taking a couple of advanced science courses, and for some tragic reason, ALL of my exams are in one week each month.
Along with trying to adjust to my crazy school schedule, I was sick for about 2 weeks from either a sinus infection, or a small cold. To this day, I am still recovering.
To be honest, I was in a creative black hole, and just couldn’t think of any good content for a long while, and it affected me a lot longer than I expected — to the point where I felt like I lost motivation for my blog.
BUT. I promise that I will do better starting today. October is the month were I will turn this around, and make everything work. I can’t guarantee that I’ll be consistent, however, I will try my darn hardest to not disappear like I recently did.
I know I have been gone for a while, and I am so sorry for that — again, work calls, therefore I must attend (even though sometimes I’m very reluctant to do so). In today’s blog post, I am going to be sharing with you guys my experience during my first year of school, highlighting some topics which I think are important for those who are starting in the fall, and for the upcoming graduating class of 2017!
I know I rambled a lot in this video, but hopefully you guys found some parts of it helpful. Always remember that if you have a question, or a request, for me — please, ask away!
I felt obligated to take the time to apologize, again, for being completely absent this past month. As most of you may know, I just completed my first year of college, and I was really stressed out. All I could think about was studying and doing well my first year.
Regardless, that’s no excuse to completely leave you guys hanging. But, no worries – as i mentioned on Twitter – I have a ton of projects planned out, and a lot of ideas to the point where I feel like I will implode if I don’t share them with you guys!

If you guys follow me on Twitter, then you might have noticed that I recently did a poll. Recently, I’ve been going through this writer’s block funk, and I just needed some help in where I needed to lead my content. If you read my New Year’s Resolutions post, then you already know that I am trying really hard to improve my content, as well as many other things.
On my poll, I asked which general topic you wanted me to talk about, and I had 100% votes for health/fitness. So why not kill two birds with one stone? On Wednesday, I shared my current workout playlist, and now I’ve decided to keep the trend of health/fitness to round out January, and slowly progress into February (and Valentine’s Day).
