hello loves~ welcome back to my blog! i was planning on doing something more “inspiring” for this post, but let’s be honest… we all knew that wasn’t going to happen :’)
instead, i wanted to do something more laid back and chill — hence why i am writing this live on january 17th at 12:30pm.
for 2020 one of my goals is really get back into the swing of things. at this point, i have been out of school for 8 months, and i am dying of boredom and just tired of my daily monotonous routine. when i was in university, i thought the monotony was bad — but i was kidding myself: i am currently living such a repetitive and uninspiring life.
if you would like to hear about my recent life struggles, i invite you to watch my youtube update:
although you can’t see what has been going on behind the scenes, i have been trying really hard to be productive at the start of this year. i started my bullet journal for the year, started planning for my blog and youtube channel, and organizing my life more efficiently.
in terms of my blog, i think wednesday are the best days to upload because it gives me time to work ahead, get my editing done, finish some last-minute details, etc.
this semester, i am retaking a class that can dictate everything for me in regards to my academic career — so i am really trying to focus and be productive with that class. with that being said, i think posting once a week is the best thing for me right now. it will allow me to prioritize and just enjoy the process of creating without stressing me out, and taking a toll on my mind and soul.
i do plan on officiating my domain, but i need to prove to myself that i can keep up with the pressures of life and maintaining my hobbies on the side. therefore, i will work really hard on getting my -ish together. in reality, there should be no excuse: i am out of school (for the most part), i have had plenty of time to sit around and do nothing, and i am honestly so tired of just sitting around and being an unproductive potato.
i think i will go ahead and wrap up this post because i feel like i can babble for forever and keep repeating the same thoughts — but that’s reserved for my journal :’)
i will definitely see you guys next wednesday with some REAL content! i hope you will continue to be patient and understanding. for those who have stuck around for the past few years, i sincerely appreciate you for sticking in there. i know i have not been the best at this “influencer” thing but i am honestly working on it!
It has been roughly three months since I have moved in with my boyfriend, and it has been good to say the least. Honestly, I was really worried that our living styles would not align properly, even though we have been together for seven years, and practically went through many life changes together.
In today’s post, I will be talking about my experiences to date – both good and ugly. I will also include a few words of advice (based off my experience) in attempt to help ease your worries of moving in with your significant other, or to help make living with your significant other more doable.
hello lovelies and happy sunday! I hope you have been healthy, high-spirited, and caring towards others. It has been a long while since I lasted posted (I believe it has been roughly four months). Since my last update, many things have changed, and I am excited to share them with you! So, I hope you can take the time to go down memory lane with me! If not, I think I summarized everything in the vlog below, which was posted almost a month ago. If you would like to be up-to-date, please subscribe and follow my social media outlets!
What is freaking up you guys! It’s been another hot minute since I’ve done anything for my blog, so here is an update! For starters, I’m officially a college graduate! In this post, I’ll fill you in on what I’ve been up to, as well as what’s to come.
Unlike most parts of the country, spring is a very unpredictable time for us in the deep south. Siri and Alexa may tell you one thing, then you get to your destination and it’s either too hot, too cold, or too wet. For us university students, this inconsistency can set a negative, or uncomfortable, tone to our day.
Good afternoon loves~ How have you been? I hope everything is going well. Summer is right around the corner, and you will finally be able to catch your breathe. I have been doing well, and as usual, school is overtaking my life. However, I have been more open to going out, and trying to be more social. As many of you know, I am trying to revamp my blog, and YouTube channel since I am graduating in May. It’s a very slow process because I’m not use to actively trying to be productive with my hobbies, but I’m getting there!
I am planning on purchasing my domain after I graduate, but before I can do that — I really need to get use to getting back into the flow of things. So far, I have a general idea of what I want to change, but I need to be more decisive before I can start playing around with it. I know I want to keep this space as more of a lifestyle blog because I don’t want to limit myself when I have many interests. When I first started my blog, almost four years ago, it was meant to be an outlet for my creative side since I am always focusing on my logical and scientific side at school. Unfortunately, I was getting more and more overwhelmed with school, and started to cut back on my blog — which I regret. Now, I still want to maintain this space as a way for me to use my creative side, but more as a hobby and part-time job, than an outlet.
I will keep the schedule the way it is since it works really well with school and work: ** Wednesdays at 2:00 PM CST ** Saturdays at 2:00 PM CST
Overall, this note is to prove that I am alive, and proof that I am going to be more accountable on my blog and my YouTube channel. If you guys have any recommendations on what you would like to see, please let me know! For now, I gotta get ready for class — ‘Till next time~
It’s no secret that I am a stationary addict, so when Inkberry reached out to me to review their planner, you already know how excited I was! Stay tuned till the end of this review for a chance to win your very own Inkberry Planner.
If you were to look up the top 10 most common resolutions, I can guarantee that losing weight and getting healthy are somewhere on that list, along with other lifestyle changes. While wanting to shed a few pounds and eating more salad is all good and dandy, it is not easy – but, you already knew that. What you might not realize is that being healthy is more of a mental challenge than a physical one.
Here are five things to think about while managing your healthy new year’s resolutions:
