Hello Loves~

I know it has been a while, and that I’m still off schedule, BUT I am currently fixing that with pre-writing, etc.

Today’s post was inspired due to the ignorance of one coworker of mine. Long story short, she’s awful, and I don’t like her that much. Background info: She believes our GM got his job because we are located in an area which is highly populated by Asians.

What I’m Excited for This Summer!

Hey Loves!

I just wanted to take the time to let you guys in on my plans for this summer! This summer I plan to be banking blogs and YouTube videos: this means I’m going to be working really hard so when the next semester comes around, I won’t miss a beat when it comes to my post schedule!

This summer I plan to vlog more, which means I’m going to attempt to be active on my YouTube channel as well, which will be hard because I tend to forget to schedule in editing time. In June I will be going to California for a family reunion, and to just explore, so get excited for that! I will attempt another travel guide, and will work hard to make my vlogs the best that they can be.

I already have some DIY projects, and lookbook projects, and other fun stuff in the works as well, so get ready for those! I also plan to try out for my school’s FSA dance group once the fall semester starts, which means I need to be practicing, which means – more dance classes, and more work outs! I am currently building up my confidence and learning how to loosen up, and not be exact, which is hard for me since I come from a contemporary and ballet background, but am trying out for a hip-hop team.

Hello Beautiful!

I felt obligated to take the time to apologize, again, for being completely absent this past month. As most of you may know, I just completed my first year of college, and I was really stressed out. All I could think about was studying and doing well my first year.

Regardless, that’s no excuse to completely leave you guys hanging. But, no worries – as i mentioned on Twitter – I have a ton of projects planned out, and a lot of ideas to the point where I feel like I will implode if I don’t share them with you guys!

If you guys follow me on Twitter, then you might have noticed that I recently did a poll. Recently, I’ve been going through this writer’s block funk, and I just needed some help in where I needed to lead my content. If you read my New Year’s Resolutions post, then you already know that I am trying really hard to improve my content, as well as many other things.

On my poll, I asked which general topic you wanted me to talk about, and I had 100% votes for health/fitness. So why not kill two birds with one stone? On Wednesday, I shared my current workout playlist, and now I’ve decided to keep the trend of health/fitness to round out January, and slowly progress into February (and Valentine’s Day).

Workout Playlist: Whistle While You Work It!

January is has come and is about to be gone! How are you and your New Year’s resolutions? I know for me and for a lot of my friends and family, one of our biggest resolutions would have to be going to the gym and working out more, not just for physical appearances but for health reasons as well, such as cholesterol levels.

Now that you’ve put in the effort to get up and go to the gym, do you ever find yourself unmotivated and just stuck, not knowing what to do first, or what to do next, and for how long? Is your mind running more than your legs?

Having a playlist designed specifically for working out helps to energize you and reduce wandering thoughts which can just stress you out or make you feel awkward. Not to mention it makes working out go by faster and more fun! (And if you’re anything like me, you’re more into the music and the feels it gives you than working out)

Hey guys!

Just wanted to pop in and kinda have conversation, and give you a small update about what’s going on in my life! It is now thirteen days into the new year, and trying to maintain all of my resolutions at once is challenging >.< Not to mention, I picked up a couple of other fun challenges in my life.

Recently, I’ve decided to attempt becoming fluent in Vietnamese. Vietnamese was my first language, however, I lost it due to the fact that I stopped speaking it a lot at home and starting primary school. Currently, I know how to read and pronounce most words, but, the issue comes to play when I have to write and talk. I understand more than I can speak, but that’s just a vocabulary issue. I wanna try and become close to fluent by the end of the year — hopefully. It’ll make my grandpa really happy too, so it’s a work in progress.

I’ve also decided to try and learn Korean. I’ve always loved the Korean language, and the culture, although I still have a lot to learn about their culture. But, to me I think Korean is such a pretty language because it’s not as harsh as a dialect like English and Vietnamese. Plus, I like learning new languages and I feel like it works the brain out a lot.

BUT ANYWAYS~ Besides from trying to learn languages, I have some exciting news as well! My university decided to start a chapter with Her Campus! If you are not familiar with Her Campus, long story short it is basically a magazine/ community for college girls by college girls. So, I decided to apply, and they accepted my application! Which means, on top of my personal blog, I will also be blogging for my school’s chapter in Her Campus! I can’t express how excited I am! (I get to meet to team next week, and I’m super stoked!)

Overall, I think 2016 is going to be an exciting year full of good memories~

For now, this is all I have for a life update, but I want to take a second and thank you guys for dealing with myself. I know I was not consistent during the holidays, but I am back and ready to embark the journey of life together with you guys!

Hello Love!

I just wanted to pop on and apologize for me not being active this past week. If you don’t follow me on any social media sites, then you are probably not aware that this past week was finals week!!

As a biology major, this was a serious, school intensive week, and I was just completely absorbed in my studies.

Now that I am out of school for winter break, I will be able to be more active, and more on schedule, however, my part-time job did increase my hours by a lot. So, I may not be able to keep my promise for blogmas, however, it turns out I was doing blogmas all wrong–oops!!

There is always next year, and hopefully my life will be a little more eventful to be able to host a proper blogmas.

Regardless, I will be attempting to keep my promise for this year’s blogmas 🙂

With that being said, I am sorry for being absent this week!!
