happy sunday loves~ today, Colin and i are preparing to attend a friend’s wedding! so, this week’s post is a detailed blog version of my last blog post. in this video, i talk about my current life dilemmas, including: the pandemic, school and education, work, and adulting in general.
i know that it has been a little while since my last post (both jobs have been insanely busy), and i sincerely apologize. i am currently preparing for something extremely important, and i will discuss more about that later on~
so, my plan is to have another post ready for you by the end of the month! my birthday is at the end of the month, so i plan to have a surge of wisdom, responsibility, and productivity as I reach my 24th year ʕ￫ᴥ￩ʔ
happy monday! it has been a little while since i last posted anything on the blog. if you follow me on instagram, then you may already have an inkling as to why i have been missing for the past few months. however, i can’t believe that it has been since april?!
as always, i sincerely apologize for vanishing off the face of the earth… my original plan was to complete my summer class, take about a week off, and then return sometime in july. but my comeback was delayed because i am currently undergoing the application processes. it is not my first rodeo in regards to applying to professional school; however, i decided to fully reflect on myself, scrapped my essays, and basically started from square one.
on top of completing my applications, i decided to pick up another job to get more experience in my desired field of work. now, i have the opportunity to learn and work within an inpatient and acute care setting. between my orientation, training, and my other job, my spare time has been filled with lots of naps and avatar: the last airbender.
needless to say, i am more than ready to come back to my hobbies, and create pieces just for fun!
lately, i have been feeling overwhelmed and drained with everything. it will be nice to dedicate more time to my blog, social media, and anything else that is not school or work related. life is constantly moving, and we sometimes get overly caught up in its motions. without realizing it, we can feel all of the extremes and struggle with managing even our most mundane tasks — even more so during this weird time.
overall, i would like to thank you all for being as patient as ever! i know my following is quite small, but i still feel guilty for my disappearance. i would like to write more (seeing as how i have postponed this blog post for quite some time), however it is currently midnight, and i can feel my train of thought slipping.
i look forward to our next encounter~ with love, joslyn
happy sunday loves! i know that i missed a post last week, but i was really struggling with studying and trying to complete my lectures. luckily, i finished my last exam and practical last week, and all i have left is my final!
for today’s blog post, i wanted to do something a little easier, since i already had the footage and content recorded. this week, i want to share with you some clips from march 16th — 22nd, during my extended spring break. if you weren’t aware, a lot of schools and universities extended their spring break for at least another week to discuss precautions for the current global situation.
i plan to upload a lot more vlogs in the future, and hope to get caught up very soon. if you would like to leave me any advice on how to improve, or any constructive criticism, please comment below or send me a private message!
hello loves, and welcome to this week’s post~ i know that i am posting on a monday, but this is due to the fact that Easter was yesterday, and my procrastination got the best of me. although i did not do anything special for Easter this year, i was chained to my desk doing assignments, lectures, and readings.
anyways, this week’s post is dedicated to all of the apps that have helped me get through this challenging time. outside of your typical social media outlets (such as instagram, twitter, and snapchat), there are other applications that have been keeping me preoccupied, and have prevented me from just laying in bed all day.
this blog post will be highlighting six apps which i utilize between all of my apple products:
hello loves, and welcome back to M. A. N.~ i hope you’re doing well, during this time, and that you’re staying safe and healthy.
it has been about a month since i last uploaded a blog post, and i sincerely apologize. with everything that is going on, i needed time to adjust, and wanted to make sure that i was okay with the changes before getting back into the swing of posting on the regular.
if you haven’t noticed — i purchased my domain! after five years, i finally own my domain, and have access to many more features that WordPress provides. so, be on the look out for the changes that will be made! with that being said, i would appreciate if you remain patient with me as i finalize the schedule, design, mood, color scheme, etc.
in today’s post, i will be going into detail about the changes i would like to make with M. A. N., and i will also update you with everything that is currently going on in my life. this update will explain why i have been distant for the past month, and i hope that it will justify my sudden absence.
i filmed a stationary haul a few months ago, and i finally finished editing it! i am super proud of this video, even though it is a more relaxed and chill video. in this video, i showcased all the stationary items that i bought from aliexpress.
links to all products and timestamps are located in the video’s description box!
hello loves~ welcome back to my blog! i was planning on doing something more “inspiring” for this post, but let’s be honest… we all knew that wasn’t going to happen :’)
instead, i wanted to do something more laid back and chill — hence why i am writing this live on january 17th at 12:30pm.
for 2020 one of my goals is really get back into the swing of things. at this point, i have been out of school for 8 months, and i am dying of boredom and just tired of my daily monotonous routine. when i was in university, i thought the monotony was bad — but i was kidding myself: i am currently living such a repetitive and uninspiring life.
if you would like to hear about my recent life struggles, i invite you to watch my youtube update:
although you can’t see what has been going on behind the scenes, i have been trying really hard to be productive at the start of this year. i started my bullet journal for the year, started planning for my blog and youtube channel, and organizing my life more efficiently.
in terms of my blog, i think wednesday are the best days to upload because it gives me time to work ahead, get my editing done, finish some last-minute details, etc.
this semester, i am retaking a class that can dictate everything for me in regards to my academic career — so i am really trying to focus and be productive with that class. with that being said, i think posting once a week is the best thing for me right now. it will allow me to prioritize and just enjoy the process of creating without stressing me out, and taking a toll on my mind and soul.
i do plan on officiating my domain, but i need to prove to myself that i can keep up with the pressures of life and maintaining my hobbies on the side. therefore, i will work really hard on getting my -ish together. in reality, there should be no excuse: i am out of school (for the most part), i have had plenty of time to sit around and do nothing, and i am honestly so tired of just sitting around and being an unproductive potato.
i think i will go ahead and wrap up this post because i feel like i can babble for forever and keep repeating the same thoughts — but that’s reserved for my journal :’)
i will definitely see you guys next wednesday with some REAL content! i hope you will continue to be patient and understanding. for those who have stuck around for the past few years, i sincerely appreciate you for sticking in there. i know i have not been the best at this “influencer” thing but i am honestly working on it!
It has been roughly three months since I have moved in with my boyfriend, and it has been good to say the least. Honestly, I was really worried that our living styles would not align properly, even though we have been together for seven years, and practically went through many life changes together.
In today’s post, I will be talking about my experiences to date – both good and ugly. I will also include a few words of advice (based off my experience) in attempt to help ease your worries of moving in with your significant other, or to help make living with your significant other more doable.
